One more...

...... possible suicide (this time at IITK).

ToI is dorkier as ever - posted with headlines 'Stressed IITian commits suicide' - even though it is just a speculation till now (may be the most possible cause of death, but still - not confirmed).

Related: IITB suicide

I don't like ToI, but I didn't find this heading way off the mark!

BD, no need to show me any reports. I had said that the heading of the ToI news was in sync with its content. You may argue that the entire news item was wrong.
At the time the news was published, you could've believed any of IndianExpress and ToI

@Raja

my bad. I thought you were referring to the article and not the heading-article-correlation.

Hi Ritesh,

I agree with you....The recent reporting by TOI and the rest of the media regarding the suicides is unnecessarily and dangerously sensationalist. Studies have shown that such reporting has the effect of encouraging 'mimicking' behavior among others who are tottering on the edge.....much as Rajnikant's and Shah Rukh Khan's public smoking has had the effect of increased smoking in society.

Thanks for linking to my blog.And keep up the good work!
